Terri Brown

HCPC, CSP and Physio First

I am Terri, a Wife, Mum, home educator and of course, physiotherapist.

I have 4 teenage boys and 2 dogs at home who generally keep me on my toes!  We are a a rugby loving household, so you can generally find me across the road at the Meadows most weekends.  This love of sport sparked my interest in sporting injuries in teenagers and children, along with my keen involvement in youth strength and conditioning.

Professionally I trained in Edinburgh, qualifying in 1996 and taking my first job down in Dumfries at the Royal Infirmary there.  In 2000 my husband's work took us back to Aberdeenshire, where I worked in ARI, Woodend, the Maternity hospital and laterally at Ellon Health Centre.  When our 2nd son was born, I gave up my NHS work for the flexibility of working at Ellon Physiotherapy.

I treat all muskuloskeletal aches, pains and injuries, with a special interest in sport injuries in children and teens.

I also run a Strength and Balance Class for the over 60's-a class full of fun and laughter.

Ashley Armstrong

MCSP, HCPC

I'm Ashley, I've been a qualified physio since 2010, graduating from Robert Gordon University and have worked in private practice since November 2010. I have always had an interest for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injury rehabilitation so this was the right route for me. Alongside my clinic work I have been the lead Physiotherpapist for Inverurie Loco Works FC for the past 10 seasons. Looking after a top Highland League Football Team, I have grown a strong interest in football injuries and rehabilitation. (as well as having had a love for the sport since a young age!)

I am an APPI trained Pilates teacher and currently teach 2 classes a week for Ellon Physiotherapy online via Zoom, as well as using my Pilates skills within my clinic sessions. I have previously worked with the Scotland Women's U17/19s football teams, the Scottish Rugby Unions Caledonia U16/18s squads and the Scotland O50/55s mens hockey teams at various tournaments. My love for team sports carries through my work. Finally I volunteered at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and was part of the lawn bowls team there.

In my spare time (there's not much of it!) I love to socialise with friends; eating out for dinner and never passing up the opportunity for an afternoon tea, go to Glasgow to see my family and try to fit in a bit of exercise of my own. Last year I took up running 5kms and I really enjoy some full body weights sessions in the gym.

I treat all musculoskeletal injuries with a special interest in: Sports injuries, Football rehabilitation/injury prevention, Pilates and Orthopaedic rehabilitation.
